The Novi Classic Car Auction was a blast!

First of all I would like to say that this event could not have happened if it was not for our club members. This was told to us by the auction management that ran the auction. I was so proud that our members made a great impression at this auction for our first time out at this event. I want to say thanks to the members that stayed over from their shifts just to help out and those that came and worked more than one day. We even had our member Steve Thomas drive from up north just for this event and he worked all three days. Special thanks to Wally Wigand and Mark Koehler for helping me with the organization of this event. Also thanks to our president Bob Guetschow for his help with this event.

Upcoming Events for FMRCOA Members

May 6th Sunday from 1:00pm until 4:00pm Seniors Then and Now Day at Washtenaw Christian Academy 7200 Moon Rd Saline, Mi. (details at meeting)

May 20th is our fifth garage tour. It will be at Van -Tele Auto at 23047 Van Born Rd. Taylor, Michigan. Our host will be Alex Test he will show us around his shop.

May 28th Dearborn Memorial Day Parade

June Meeting is the (MINI SWAP MEET)

Also this year we will have our Annual Picnic in Hines Park during the Hines Park Cruise. Details to follow.

And back by popular demand we will be planning another trip to the Gilmore Museum this year.

So stay tuned we are planning a lot more events this year for our club members.

'Dearborn 2012' is Ramping Up

Our annual swap meet and car show at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Belleville, Michigan on July 21st and 22nd 2012 will be here before you know it! Members are signing up already so remember we need your help because this is our clubs big event.
